In 2026, the Embassy of Monaco in Washington, D.C. proudly marks an historic milestone: twenty years of ambassadorial-level diplomatic relations between the Principality of Monaco
and the United States. 

Since the Embassy’s opening in 2006, the relationship between our two nations has flourished — anchored by shared values and strengthened through cultural exchange, innovation, economic cooperation, and a mutual commitment to environmental stewardship and global responsibility. 
Over the past two decades, this enduring partnership has deepened the ties between us, reaffirming Monaco’s presence and purpose on the international stage and highlighting the vitality of the transatlantic bond. 

Our anniversary coincides with the 250th anniversary of America’s independence.
